Chelsea will travel to Selhurst Park on Saturday (14/10/2017) against Crystal Palace in the eighth week of the English Premier League This is the first game after the international break that drained a lot of the power of the players of the Blues and of course make some of them injured.

Crystal Palace are having major problems before the international break, they lost in seven Premier League matches. Their points are still 0 and have not even scored a single goal. And in the last two games, they slaughtered the Manchester duo, against City 5-0 and United 4-0. The number of injured players aggravates the situation of Roy Hodgson’s troops.

The international pause always leaves the problem for big clubs because not a few of their players are competing. Key Players

Andros Townsend

Palace has no attackers for now, Cristian Benteke, Wilfred Zaha and Connor Wickham are still injured and Hodgson has not dared to deny young strikers like Levi Lumeka, 19-year-old Jason Eyenga-Lokilo or an inexperienced Freddie Ladapo. The result is now a lot they hope on Townsend to score goals. However, Tondsend has not scored a goal so far.

Eden Hazard

Chelsea lost N’Golo Kante in this match and although Alvaro Morata made sure he could perform in this fight through social media, Conte did not seem to want to take any chances. Chelsea’s forward line will be headed by Hazard who performed superbly after recovering from a broken leg injury. Hazard has yet to score a goal or assist in the Premier League, but the impact is felt.

Besides Benteke, Wickham and Zaha, the Palace also lost James Tomkins and Ruben Loftus-Cheek. This condition makes the situation more difficult for Hodgson. They have not scored a goal so far this season. With no strikers, scoring goals will be even more difficult.

Kante and Morata are certainly vital players Chelsea. Kante is the key to Chelsea’s balance last season and this season, but Conte still has Tiemoue Bakayoko and for the front line there are options Michy Batshuayi and Pedro. Chelsea are still sharp. And now David Luiz who previously suspended was able to return to perform.
